2016, May Luncheon
State Senator Kirk Pearson
This month's luncheon will feature Senator Kirk Pearson as our guest speaker. Senator Pearson will discuss the results of the most recent legislative session and how it affects us in the 39th District. Including the impact here on passing the Northern State Property to the Port of Skagit County.
Our second speaker will be Nathan Salseina with the City of Sedro-Woolley regarding plans to upgrade Memorial Park and install a Splash Park. Nathan is applying for a grant prior to our meeting and is currently looking for letters of support for the project from the community. Please send your letters to his attention at the City of Sedro-Woolley, 325 Metcalf Street, Sedro-Woolley WA 98284.
Lunch will be provided by Cascade Pizza who just celebrated 41 years in our community by rolling back prices to 1975 for a few days in April.
