Anacortes Buskerfest

Anacortes Buskerfest 2017 is Sunday August 27th from 11am to 2pm! Come join us in our beautiful waterfront town, to show off your talent during the Open Streets Anacortes event. This is an event where we close our main street and encourage everyone to bike, roller skate, skateboard, walk, whatever their preference and just play in the streets! Adding a new element to entertain our visitors, buskers (a person who entertains in a public place for donations) will be placed throughout the event along Commercial Ave. All buskers must submit an application to participate. Approved buskers will be a part of a People's Choice Competition and eligible to win one of two prizes (first place votes = $250, second place votes = $100). Additionally, there will be 10 approved buskers, who each receive a $50 stipend from us for participating. Our goal is to create a fun, electric entertainment event that showcases performers and puts smiles on the faces of the people coming to Buskerfest & Open Streets Anacortes.
