Día del Niño/Day of the Child
The Mount Vernon City, Burlington Public, Central Skagit Libraries along with the Downtown Mount Vernon Association invite you to come and enjoy games, arts and crafts, book giveaways, food, live music, and participate in the Children’s Art Walk on Saturday, April 25th in Pine Square from 1:00-3:00pm. At 3:00pm join us at the Lincoln Theatre for Mexican Folk dancing and Mariachi. Mount Vernon High School Mariachi will be performing alongside students from Washington Elementary School, the Sedro Woolley School District and Los Solecitos de Valle student dance group from Burlington. This show will feature almost 100 students ranging in age from 7-18 performing 12 songs and dances.
