PeaceHealth integrates comprehensive healthcare services with the
newly opened Sedro-Woolley Clinic
PeaceHealth has opened a new1990 Hospital Drive in Sedro-Woolley to meet the increasing demand for healthcare services in the area, and the public is invited to a grand opening celebration and wellness fair on Saturday, Sept. 2 clinic at 2, 2018. The fair is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of the new clinic—the former site of the Skagit Regional Health Pavilion.
The fair will include health and wellness information and free screenings, fun activities for children and tours of the new clinic. A brief ceremony and ribbon cutting, attended by Sedro-Woolley Mayor, Julia Johnson, and other community and PeaceHealth leaders, including sister Andrea Nenzel, chair of PeaceHealth’s System Board, will commence at 10:15 a.m.
The PeaceHealth Sedro-Woolley Clinic offers comprehensive healthcare services for residents living in the nearly 2,000 square-mile service area covering Skagit and parts of Whatcom County. This newly renovated space combines health services previously offered through PeaceHealth United General Family Medicine and Sedro-Woolley Family Medicine clinics, and integrates specialty care, imaging and outpatient laboratory services in one, easily accessible location.
“PeaceHealth has made significant progress in the growth of healthcare services in this community,” said Chris Johnston, chief administrative officer at PeaceHealth United General Medical Center. “Our beautiful new space allows us to expand both primary care and specialty care services available to our community,” Johnston continued.
“With more square footage in the new clinic, there’s room to expand,” shared Misty Parris, vice president, PeaceHealth Medical Group. “Patients and clinicians share a brighter, more comfortable space, and the new facility allows us to expand our footprint by offering more services.”
In addition to primary physician offices, the new facility houses a walk-in clinic, open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday; the following specialties: neurology, pulmonology, orthopedics, urology, cardiology and pulmonology; imaging services, Schaffner Pharmacy and Quest Diagnostics.
