Join us on Friday, March 3rd for a night of music and storytelling celebrating one of Ireland’s folk music icons! Peadar MacMahon, Jan Peters, Aaron Harmonson, and Richard Scholtz bring to life the legacy of Percy French during this captivating evening of folk music and storytelling. A celebrated entertainer across Ireland, Percy French’s life and career are remembered through his remarkable songwriting, fascinating persona, and talents in various art forms. A lifelong artist, French achieved a celebrity status in Ireland during the Golden Age before World War I. His fascinating life is captured through song and storytelling during this performance! MacMahon, Peters, Harmonson, and Scholtz are all well-established in the Irish music community of the Pacific Northwest. The four toured Ireland in 2016, performing for the Percy French Festival, radio stations, and various pubs. Their performance was well received, evoking memories of family and tradition, a true testament to French’s impact on Irish music. The four will return to Ireland once again this July.
